D.R. Golding
President & Chief Executive Officer
D. R. Golding attended the U.S. Naval Academy prior to earning a B.S.E. in aerospace engineering from the University of Michigan. Before joining Hynes, he spent most of his career as an owner and operator of manufacturing companies.
At Gladen Corporation in Bay City, Michigan, Golding dramatically grew and ultimately merged the company with United Silicone of Lancaster, New York, where he stayed on as vice president and co-owner. He then acquired Memtron Technologies and transformed the struggling company into an industry leader.
Just prior to assuming his new role at Hynes, Golding worked as a consultant and adviser to a variety of small and mid-sized closely held manufacturing companies.
Mike Giambattista
Vice President, Marketing & Sales
A 25-year veteran of the company, Mike Giambattista served as general manager of Roll Formed Products Division prior to assuming his current position in 2011. He was a key player in obtaining and growing the Wabash National business, where Hynes received supplier awards in 2010, 2011 and again in 2012. Today he is responsible for the company's marketing and sales initiatives and staff, helping to build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts and prospects.
Giambattista attended Brown University and earned a B.S. in organizational behavior and management.
Pat Montana
Vice President, Operations
A 27-year veteran of the company, Pat Montana served as general manager of the Hynes Steel Products Division prior to being appointed to his new position in 2011. Today, he is responsible for all of the company's manufacturing operations.
Montana earned a B.S. in business and marketing management from Youngstown State University; and is a long-standing and highly regarded athletic official in the state of Ohio.
Jim Blair
Vice President of Finance and Corporate Treasurer
Jim Blair joined Hynes Industries four years ago as the company's corporate controller. Prior to that, he worked as controller and vice president of finance for Greenville Metals in Transfer, Pennsylvania.
Blair, who holds a B.A. in accounting from Slippery Rock University and an M.B.A. from Youngstown State University, is now responsible for the Finance, IT and HR functions at Hynes.
Dick Evans
Vice President, Materials
Assuming his new position in May of 2011, Dick Evans is responsible for managing materials across all Hynes' product lines. He also oversees the traffic department, as well as all raw material, supply and mill contracts. Evans has been with the company for 25 years, and prior to assuming his current position, he served as the director of purchasing.
Evans earned a B.S. in business management from Youngstown State University. He serves on the board of directors at Goodwill Industries and is actively involved in the Poland, Ohio sports community.
Bob Metz
Director, Quality Systems
A Hynes employee for 22 years, Bob Metz led the company to ISO 9001 certification, and is responsible for the entire Quality System team. He oversees the quality plans for all product lines - assuring that quality at Hynes remains second to none.
Prior to joining Hynes, Metz worked as a process engineer at Packard Electric. He earned an associate in applied science degree in mechanical engineering from Youngstown State University. He is an active member of the American Society for Quality and a senior member of the Society of Manufacturing Engineers.
