Hynes began in 1925 as a small steel brokerage firm, the Hynes Steel Products Company. The early success of this enterprise enabled our founding partners to expand their steel processing capabilities and to move into related fields.
Today Hynes Industries offers four very distinct, but synergistic, steel product lines encompassing five plants, and more than 270,000 square feet. We slit coil and edge condition a wide range of flat-rolled steel. We design, engineer and roll form an almost unlimited number of shapes from a variety of metals. We cold roll round wire into flat wire and specialty shaped wire. And, we manufacture and market a unique American made slotted angle system, Flexangle. In essence, our business is shaping metal and turning ideas into practical, functional form to your exact specifications.
